Hello everyone! Hey so we're back in quarentine so I actually have a good amount of time today to write my email! :)

I got transferred! It was crazy, nearly every area in my mission went into quarentine on Thursday, so we found out about transfers on Tuesday and moved on Wednesday and went in to quarentine on Thursday.

I honestly don't mind the quarentine, it gives us a lot more time to work and study! I'm a good worker as long as I have little breaks throughout the day to play the piano and guitar and eat snacks. (we have a keyboard here too!! 👀👀) My attention span is exactly 30 minutes. More than that I'm gone.

My new area is called El Abrazo (The Hug) and it's super great! I love this change. My companion is Hermana Rondón, she's from Venezuela!

Our house is nicer here. There's not a random toilet in the backyard or a washing machine in the kitchen, haha. And there's a lot more space.

Things are amazing here, I love working together and filling our day with missionary work. We are really efficient. This week we saw SO MANY MIRACLES! Every single day we found 1-2 people who were interested in hearing our lesson - This is all through telephone - We taught them a lesson and asked them when we could call again! We found 8 new people this week. Also I came in to the area with 4 friends on date for baptism! The only problem is they can't be baptized yet because we are in quarentine. In the 4 days since I've been here, we have put two more people on date for baptism!

The first person is named Felipe, he works in music so that's super cool. We had a video call with him and he told us he has more time to take the lessons, and he wants to be baptized! We gave him the date of April 23, he said, well, actually, could I be baptized the 15th of April? and we were like SURE!

The second is more amazing than the first, his name is Jonathan and he is from Haiti. He speaks Spanish very well. He was a referral, he saw an ad on YouTube and responded to it! We called him and felt like we should start teaching him the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Faith, Repentance, Baptism) and when we got to baptism he told us he hasn't been baptized and that he wants to after he learns more about the scriptures and Jesus Christ! We were ecstatic and put him on date for the 30th of April.

There are a lot of people from Haiti here, especially in this area. We talk to at least one Haitian every day. My companion knows a bit of Creole and I want to at least know how to read the words on the pamphlets just in case they don't know much Spanish.

Also, someone that Hermana Rondon knows messaged her and she said she wanted to be baptized as a surprise for her boyfriend who is a member!! So we are also helping her :) She lives in another mission in Chile but wants us to be in the videocalls too.

Funnies
My companion is scared of birds and when I was unpacking my stuff I showed her my bird book. she was looking through it and would say "aaa!" every few pages.

In this mission they celebrate your 'cumplemes' which is your month mark every month. My cumplemes is the 26th. My companion gave me a crocodile baloon shaped like a 7 for my seven months! :)

We use WhatsApp for basically everything and there are a lot of little pictures that we send that are really funny. I'll attach a few.

Well yeah! I'm doing really well. I am also helping my companion learn English so that is fun!! I know realize how weird and difficult English is compared to Spanish :|

Peace!
Hermana Smalley
