Bus

3/15/21

Alo! I've got a lot to write about! I'll try to be concise. I think running out of time on p day will be a consistant theme here.. Last week I didn't have any time to write because we had an activity with a lot of other Hermanas in a city called Talagante. It was our first day outside of our house after our 10 day quarentine! The hermanas in our house showed us how to take the bus. it was a little stressful because it was so quick but we did it!

Then, the next day President wanted us to come in for interviews in the city of Maipú, which is a 45 minute bus ride. Now this is next level. We asked him if we could get the Hermanas who lived in our house to accompany us and he said, "no, you should be fine. You have Google Maps." We're 2 gringas that just barely learned how to take the bus!! Well so we started to worry but the hermanas in our house gave us detailed instructions how to get there, and we made it!

Basically my first two weeks I learned how to live in our house with the gas stove you have to light with matches, hand wash dishes, and hang my clothes to dry! It feels normal now.

We can actually go out of our house! Quarentine is over!! It's fun.
Outside there are lot of
- buses and taxis
- dogs
- cats
- people!
- little stores that sell everything

Whenever you go to someones house you don't knock on the door, you just yell "alo" at the gate. The first time I did it it felt so natural!

We have a keyboard as I showed you last week, and I basically play it every day. I have a little mp3 player and I've been making recordings of some songs I made up.

I've been studying primarily in Spanish now and it's been a bit slower. I'm a week or two behind in my reading calendar but that's okay. I love Matthew! Here's my favorite verses I read recently.

Matthew 7:7-11
7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

We taught good lessons this week and last week too! We also call 10 members a day and share scriptures with everyone who answers.

Well sorry this was really short, hopefully my pictures will make up for the lack of words. I don't remember what ones ive already sent

Bye for this week!
